If you have received either a full payment on a booking and the booking value has changed to having a credit amount, or the agent has overpaid the booking, there will be a credit amount against the booking. It would be best to pick up this credit amount for a future booking and reduce the required payment but if a refund is required then you can process it in the following manner:

How do you print a debtor refund check?

Thanks for your question. If you have followed the process described above for refunding a client then in the debtors record you will have a negative value invoice as well as negative value receipt (In the debtors transaction view this will display as a CHQ record, as opposed to a normal RCT (Receipt) record). To be able to physically print a cheque from the system you will need to have a Remittance message format defined for agent refunds that has both the agent messaging subcodes and cheque layout formatting.
In the debtors transaction list you can then select the CHQ record and click on the print button, select the Remittance Advice format for Debtor Refunds and then print the cheque out.
