Allocation exists but why can I not hold the space from allocation?

There are several factors that can stop you from holding space from allocation.

Check in following order:

  1. Does the agent have the relevant Allocation Split?
  2. Does the booking status allow allocation to be held?
  3. Does the service status allow allocation to be held?
  4. Is the service date inside release period?
  5. Does the booking header field 'Allotment' contain text not relating to the Allocation Split Code?
