Overview

When looking at the Tour Financial Summary Report, the Total Sales and Booking Value can have different values.

Where do the Total Sales and Total Booking Values in the TFS come from?

Booking Value

The Booking Value is the total ‘Agent’ Booking value (Retail less commission).

Total Sales

The Total Sales value is the sum of all Invoices less credit notes raised against the Booking.

Why can these values sometimes differ?

There are a number of reasons why this can be the case. Below are a few examples to look for.

  • The Booking has been under invoiced
  • The Booking has been over invoiced
  • There is a difference in the currency exchange rate used at the Booking header when the booking was created to the rate used for the invoices creation.
