How do I add a new staff member/consultant?

Staff member:

From the Code Maintenance Module within Tourplan open ‘System’ from the Tourplan tree menu and select ‘Users’. 

Click ‘Insert’ on the top Toolbar.

Fill out the required details for the new user and click OK

Password Expires (Date)

This will always a) default to today’s date and b) be dimmed out. When a new user has logged in and selected a password that does not have a forced reset, this date will display 31 Dec 2050 when the user is selected from this scroll list. 

Force Password Reset (Checkbox)

When checked, the user will be required to change their password at the next log on. 

Change Password (Button)

When clicked, the Change Password dialogue displays:


Consultant:

From the Code Maintenance Module within Tourplan open ‘Bookings’ from the Tourplan tree menu and select ‘Consultants’.

Click ‘Insert’ on the top Toolbar.

Fill out the required details for the new user and click OK:

The Consultant table stores a list of users who will be making quotes (PCM’s) and Bookings both Fastbook and Groupbook.

Once you have added a consultant, the names in the Consultant table can be linked via INI Maintenance - Fastbook and INI Maintenance - Groupbook to the user’s login.

This will automatically assign the Consultant to PCM’s and Bookings that they create:
